You also have the possibility to have a higher cornering speed and an even more awesome look by riding a negative camber, like in these example pictures here.
Example passenger side
- Remove tyre
- Lever out protective cap (1)
- Loosen brake calliper (2) and remove brake pads
- Fold away brake calliper
- Loosen brake disc (3)
- Loosen central nut (4) and pull off wheel bearing assembly
- Loosen screws (5)
- Disconnect the plug from the wheel speed sensor (6) (can remain installed).
- The screws (5) should be exchanged for new longer screws
- Clean the surface (7)
- Loosen the screws (8) from the torsion beam and mount the camber correction plate as shown in the picture (The screws [5] were used as a mounting aid).
- Also clean the contact surface on the axle (7).
- (9) some material must be taken off the axle here, otherwise the ABS connector will no longer fit on the sensor.
- Only a small piece needs to be machined with a serrated lock washer (9).
- Clean the sensor (6)
- Assemble the wheel hub, torsion beam, camber correction plate and anchor plate with the new screws (5) (use Loctite, if necessary recut the thread in the axle [M10]).
- Screw (5.1) must be adjusted and perhaps shortened before used
- Plug the connector back onto the sensor
- Push the wheel bearing assembly back onto the wheel hub and secure with the central nut (torque according to manufacturer's specifications).
- Fit brake disc
- Replace brake pads
- Push the protective cover back in
- Mount wheel
