Installation instructions for article 932 VW Lupo camber adjustment rear camber correction plates plates camber adjustment rear axle wheel camber correction

Here you will learn how to mount camber correction plates on the rear axle of your VW Lupo step by step. With our camber correction plates, you will never again have the problem of tyres that are worn on one side, and you will also have even more grip and power on the road.

You also have the possibility to have a higher cornering speed and an even more awesome look by riding a negative camber, like in these example pictures here.

Example passenger side

  • Remove tyre
  • Lever out protective cap (1)
  • Loosen brake calliper (2) and remove brake pads
  • Fold away brake calliper
  • Loosen brake disc (3)

  • Loosen central nut (4) and pull off wheel bearing assembly

  • Loosen screws (5)
  • Disconnect the plug from the wheel speed sensor (6) (can remain installed).
  •  The screws (5) should be exchanged for new longer screws

  • Clean the surface (7)
  • Loosen the screws (8) from the torsion beam and mount the camber correction plate as shown in the picture (The screws [5] were used as a mounting aid).

  • Also clean the contact surface on the axle (7).
  • (9) some material must be taken off the axle here, otherwise the ABS connector will no longer fit on the sensor.

  • Only a small piece needs to be machined with a serrated lock washer (9).
  •  Clean the sensor (6)
  • Assemble the wheel hub, torsion beam, camber correction plate and anchor plate with the new screws (5) (use Loctite, if necessary recut the thread in the axle [M10]).
  • Screw (5.1) must be adjusted and perhaps shortened before used
  • Plug the connector back onto the sensor
  • Push the wheel bearing assembly back onto the wheel hub and secure with the central nut (torque according to manufacturer's specifications).
  • Fit brake disc
  • Replace brake pads
  • Push the protective cover back in
  • Mount wheel
