Product information "Reinforced Engine Mounting Bearing Gearbox Mounting Bearing Rear Golf MK1 Scirocco Caddy Jetta 171 399 151A Shore Hardness 68"
Reinforced gear / gearbox bearing as replacement for the originial bearing. The main function of the side bearings is to support the weight of the engine and gear unit. The reinforced gearbox bearings are therefore particularly recommended if you want to install the G60, 16V or 16V Turbo in connection with the 02A gearbox.
In contrast to the series bearings, which have a Shore hardness of approx. 55-60, the reinforced ones have a Shore hardness of 68.
Also ideal for our conversion kits to VR6 or 16V 1.8T engines in the Golf MK1
