Big brake system KIT rear axle BMW X1 X2 2 Series Mini Porsche Cayenne 4-piston caliper 356x22 brake disc - Colour brake caliper: painted in desired colour

With our big brake kit for the BMW X1 X2 2 Series and Mini Clubman and many other vehicles, you can convert your rear axle to a 4-piston brake system in conjunction with the original handbrake calliper and achieve ideal performance.

With this high performance brake kit you can use the Porsche Cayenne 4-piston Brembo brake callipers and the VW Golf 7R handbrake calliper in conjunction with the 356x22 mm brake discs from the BMW X1 X2 2 Series and Mini Clubman.

Another advantage of our brake system kit is that it is equipped with the same original brake calipers and brake discs that are installed in series-production cars. These OE parts not only make the replacement of the brakes simple and uncomplicated, but also facilitate the registration with the TÜV.

The big brake kit is not only sporty, but also suitable for everyday use and, thanks to the perforated sports brake discs in conjunction with our ceramic lining, enables ideal performance while reducing brake dust, temperature and wear.

With this high-performance big brake kit, you can get started straight away and have everything you need to convert your front axle to a 6-piston brake system.

The big high-performance brake system kit / Big Brake Kit is suitable for the following vehicles with aluminium steering knuckle: OE: 6851580-A

  • BMW X2 (F39)
  • BMW X1 (F48)
  • BMW 2er (F45 / F46)
  • Mini Clubman (F54)

Advantages of this big brake kit:

  • our components, such as brake callipers and brake discs, come from series-production cars and are OE parts. This makes replacing the brakes simple and uncomplicated and facilitates registration with the TÜV.
  • The material certificate included in the scope of delivery enables registration by individual acceptance even for series-production cars.
  • High-performance brake pads with longer service life than the original pads
  • extreme deceleration values also in combination with our rear axle brake system
  • directly fitting to the above mentioned models and therefore easily rebuildable to original condition at any time
  • our EPYTEC brake caliper adapters require no sending in of your stock parts, no re-welding, re-milling or re-drilling.

The original BMW handbrake calliper is not included in the scope of delivery. If not already fitted as original, this must still be obtained:

  • Original BMW handbrake calliper with the following part number: 6895368
  • original brake pads with the following part number: 34206885600, 6885600

FAQ: Häufige Fragen Sollte ich die Anker- bzw. Staubbleche entfernen? Wir empfehlen das Entfernen der Bleche, da sie die Belüftung einschränken. Ohne diese Barriere wird die Bremse effizienter gekühlt und bleibt auch bei starker Beanspruchung leistungsfähig. Wie erleichtere ich mir die Felgenmontage? Mit Radmontagehilfen gelingt das Ausrichten und Aufsetzen der Felge einfacher und präziser. Das schützt Gewinde und Felge und spart Zeit. Radmontagehilfe ansehen Benötige ich Spurverbreiterungen nach dem Umbau? Welche Felgengröße passt, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Streift die Felge minimal am Bremssattel, schaffen Spurverbreiterungen den nötigen Abstand. Spurverbreiterungen ansehen Brauche ich neue Bremsleitungen? Für optimale Passform und stabile Bremswirkung empfehlen wir Stahlflex. Diese sind konfigurierbar und liefern konstantere Ergebnisse als Gummileitungen. Stahlflex konfigurieren Warum unsere Adapter die beste Wahl sind Wusstest du, dass sich dein EPYTEC-Adapter oft schon nach dem ersten Verschleißteilwechsel komplett bezahlt macht? Das liegt daran, dass du mit unseren Adaptern auf OE-Bremsscheiben und -Sättel setzt, die wir bewusst bei der Entwicklung der Adapter ausgewählt haben. Diese Komponenten sind nicht nur in höchster Qualität gefertigt und in Serienfahrzeugen im Einsatz, sondern durch ihre Großserienproduktion auch günstig und jederzeit verfügbar. Für dich bedeutet das: erstklassige Bremsleistung ohne Abhängigkeit von teuren Speziallösungen anderer Hersteller. Und selbst beim TÜV hast du es leichter, denn unsere OE-Komponenten sind bereits offiziell abgenommen – der Prüfer kann sich direkt darauf beziehen, sodass deine Eintragung unkompliziert und sicher abläuft.
