Brake caliper adapter inorder to install thelarge rear brake system (256x22) from Golf Mk4 V6 4Motion R32 , VW Polo 6R WRC, Audi TT 8N, S3 into all front-wheel-drive vehicles ef the series Golf 4 TT A3.
Adapters are made of high-strength steel and are supplied galvanized.
The adapter has a thickness of 6mm and a hole spacing of 90mm.
Advantages of this brake system:
- top deceleration, without comparison with conventional brake discs, rear

- the brake calipers from the 4Motion models can be fitted with our brackets. Thus, you avoid the purchase of Jubi caliper supports costing around 120 €, and which are difficult to find.
Required components:
- brake caliper: VW Golf R32 V6 or S3 brake caliper left VW reference 8N0615423C, brake caliper right VW referecne 8N0615424C
- brake caliper mounting braket: reference 8N0615425B
- brake disc: VW+ Audi 4motion 256x22mm
- longer fixation screws (also including screws available from us under item no. 683)

Tips, information and hints:
- For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
- We can not answer generally, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
- In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers.
>> Now directly to spacers << - Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. Specifically for this, we have developed an online brake line configurator, where you can assemble the type of steel braided brake lines you want.
Click here to go to the >> configure steel braided brake lines << - Always use the hand brake cable of the installed brake caliper. So sometimes you have to modify / adapt the new handbrake cable. For conversions, where the original caliper is used and the handbrake cable can be used, you may need to pull the cable without any other fittings (ie directly) to compensate for the long distance due to the large diameter of the large brake discs.

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc. But if you want to install a different brake caliper, we also have an option for you.
