Volkswagen Caddy 14d lowering kit fo rear axle. With this lowering kit, your vehicle can be lowered 55 mm (but also lower).
Advantages:
- the surfaces are galvanized and this provides the best anticorrosive protection
- no drilling, no welding, easy assembly. The blocks are fixed to the axles. Can therefore be returned to the original state at any time. Mounting time: about 1 hour.

Ich muss sagen ich bin ein wenig enttäuscht. Ich habe mich für das Produkt entschieden einfach aufgrund der Tatsache dass ich die Zulassung brauche theoretisch hätte ich mir es komplett selber an der fräse und Drehbank machen können. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut bis auf manche spitze Kanten. Aber es ist nicht komplett durchdacht sind beispielsweise in den Blöcken zwei Bohrlöcher aber in den halteplatten unten nicht so dass man sie da zusätzlich noch reinbohren muss sowas hätte schon vorab drin sein können macht dem Kunden große arbeitserleichterung. Auch den Preis finde ich nicht komplett gerechtfertigt sicherlich handelt es sich um hochwertiges Material und ein großteil des Preises geht dafür drauf dass es eine Zulassung hat aber über 200 für ein bisschen Metall weiß ich nicht ob das sein muss. Der Kundenservice und die restliche Abwicklung waren aber perfekt der Artikel war innerhalb von einem Tag da.

Wie immer super Materialqualität und super Verarbeitung. Die erforderlichen Unterlagen werden zuverlässig bei Bestellung per separater Mail gesendet. Artikel ist nur zu empfehlen und damit kann auch der Achsversatz nach Tieferlegung problemlos korrigiert werden.

- Is the lowering kit also compatible with 3-layer leaf springs?
Yes, it also fits 3-layer leaf springs which is no problem.
- Do we need shorter shock absorbers for the lowering?
No, that's not mandatory. After installation, it is necessary to check whether the shock absorber in full compression is at its maximum, that is to say if it cannot be compressed any further. This can happen if the vehicle is heavily loaded. In this case shorter shock absorbers must be installed.
