Brake caliper adapters with special wheel hub / hub adapter for vehicles with 5x100 bolt circle/pitch circle in order to install rear brake caliper of Porsche 996, combined with the front 280mm VR6 brake discs on the rear axle.

Technics:
The Porsche calipers are mounted between the axle beam and the axle stub. The necessary longe screws are supplied. Thanks to our wheel hubs (in the shop we also have a complete kit with S3 calipers for the handbrake function, which we recommend), the 280mm brake discs are centered and screwed on. The track is wider by about 16 mm per side. The inside of the hub spacer is manufactured like the originals and therefore the wheel bearing remains the same.
Not permitted under the STVO (German Road Licensing Law). However, thanks to the material certificate supplied with the order, it is possible to register your purchase even for series vehicles
For the rear axle, we offer brake adapters for conversion to the Porsche brake system, combined with the R32 brake discs. Visit our shop.
For vehicles equipped with ABS, the ABS disc of all Golf MK3 models can be kept and adjusted exactly on our hub spacers.

Tips, information and hints:
- For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
- We can not answer generally, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
- In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers.
>> Now directly to spacers << - Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. Specifically for this, we have developed an online brake line configurator, where you can assemble the type of steel braided brake lines you want.
Click here to go to the >> configure steel braided brake lines << - Always use the hand brake cable of the installed brake caliper. So sometimes you have to modify / adapt the new handbrake cable. For conversions, where the original caliper is used and the handbrake cable can be used, you may need to pull the cable without any other fittings (ie directly) to compensate for the long distance due to the large diameter of the large brake discs.

Use in public road traffic usually requires an individual approval in accordance with § 21 StVZO by an officially recognised expert. Further information can be found under TÜV Süd. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
