The EBC Swept-Groove High-Carbon Disc is a high-performance brake disc with the best durability and optimum performance. The slots in these brake discs are milled right up to the outer edge. This ensures that brake gases, abrasion, dirt and water can be almost completely removed from the friction surface of the brake discs. Furthermore, 'cooler' air is supplied through the slots in order to optimally counteract overheating of the brake pads and brake discs. The additional grooves on the running surfaces further enhance these properties. In contrast to other manufacturers, the grooves are intentionally only grooved and not drilled through so that no so-called heat cracks can occur, as is often the case with other manufacturers. Another advantage is that the brake pads wear evenly and in parallel over their entire service life.
