Brake caliper adapter to mount brake discs 310x22mm on the rear axle Audi A8 in connection with the original brake calipers.
Suitable for all:
- Audi A6/ S6 C5 (Type 4B) year of manufacture 1997-2004.
- VW Passat B5 Type 3B
- not suitable for the C5 2.7T, 2.7T four-wheel drive, V8 four-wheel drive, or RS6
When converting to the larger A8 brake discs, the braking performance is significantly increased due to the efficiency and better cooling of the brake discs. Another advantage is that the brake discs of the A8 cost almost half compared to the original 269x22 brake discs. Thus, our holders have already paid for themselves after the first brake conversion.
With this conversion, 17 inch rims can still be retained.
Required components:
- A8 brake discs 310x22 (ATE No: 24.0122-0212.1)

Tips, information and hints:
- For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
- We can not answer generally, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
- In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers.
>> Now directly to spacers << - Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. Specifically for this, we have developed an online brake line configurator, where you can assemble the type of steel braided brake lines you want.
Click here to go to the >> configure steel braided brake lines << - Always use the hand brake cable of the installed brake caliper. So sometimes you have to modify / adapt the new handbrake cable. For conversions, where the original caliper is used and the handbrake cable can be used, you may need to pull the cable without any other fittings (ie directly) to compensate for the long distance due to the large diameter of the large brake discs.

Habe erstmal nur 4 Sterne gegeben da ich den Adapter noch nicht montiert habe jedoch ging der Versand sehr schnell, die Schrauben waren alle dabei sowie die Bestellung als Gast als auch das Downloaden des Gutachtens ging super einfach.

Perfekte Ware und super Abwicklung. Anstandslose Kulanz und netter Kontakt. Geliefert wurden leider falsche schrauben wodurch das Gewinde im Halter beschädigt wurde. Angerufen, zurück geschickt und umgehend Ersatz erhalten. Perfekt !!! Ich bin sehr zu frieden!!!

If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
