Brake caliper adapter on Audi S6 C4 model for conversion to Porsche 993 brake calipers, combined with the Audi S4 B5 320x30mm brake discs.

A reference number and the EPYTEC logo is engraved on our caliper adapters. Thus, it is possible to register your purchase even for series vehicles, according §21 i.V.m. § 19/2 StVZO (German Road License Legislation).

Notes/tips:
For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plate.
For brake conversion on the rear axle, we recommend that you generally proceed as follows:- install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. - always use the hand brake cable of the installed brake caliper. So sometimes you have to modify / adapt the new handbrake cable. For conversions, where the original caliper is used and the handbrake cable can be used, you may need to pull the cable without any other fittings (ie directly) to compensate for the long distance due to the large diameter of the large brake discs.
Tips, information and advice:
- To improve ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the anchor plates/brake dust plates.
- For easy mounting of the rim, we recommend purchasing two of our wheel mounting aids at the same time >>go directly to the article here<<
- We cannot give you a generalised answer as to which rim size you can ride after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different wheel rims. For this reason, we have developed a template with which you can easily check whether the brake system kit fits under your rim. We have included a link to the template in the description. - Install the adapter with the required components and then check whether new brake lines are required, as the old ones may not be long enough or the connection may not fit, depending on the model. Due to the significantly better efficiency, we recommend switching to steel braided lines. - The handbrake cable must always be used from the installed calliper, which means that the new handbrake cable may have to be adjusted slightly. For conversions in which the original calliper is still used and the original handbrake cable can be used, you may have to route it more directly to compensate for the larger disc diameter and longer travel

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc.
