Here you will find out how to proceed step by step in order to leave the original pedal block in place and to install the VR6 throttle cable with the part number 00-1HO721555AA on your VR6 conversion on the VW Golf 2
Preparation:
You should have this at hand:
- A screwdriver (slotted)
- a hexagon socket spanner l
- Screw lock
The conversion is "easy" and can be done in just a few steps. Conversion time approx. 5min
Installation:
At the upper end of the Golf 2 Jetta accelerator pedal is a rubber bushing, which can be easily pushed out using a flat-blade screwdriver.
Lubricate the supplied M8 screw with medium-strength threadlocker.
Then you can hang up the VR6 throttle cable from the VW Golf 3 and re-install the whole thing in your VW Golf 2.
