The customer's request / problem:

Our customer Jonas needs two adapters, or spacers, for his drive shaft

Our realisation / solution:

Jonas sent us two sketches for the drive shaft flanges / spacers. We have entered the dimensions into the CAD programme and produced a 3D model.

You will receive a matching material certificate for every custom-made product.

3-D Prototyping

The final prototype is sent to Jonas in advance so that it can be tested whether everything fits perfectly and the drive shaft can be adapted without any problems. As the dimensions are identical and only differ in height, only a 3-D model needs to be made.

We always work with a 3D model in advance, as it often happens that certain dimensions and conditions cannot be taken on the tuning adapter in advance. With the 3D model we can be sure that everything fits.

Change requests

After the trial fitting, Jonas told us that he wanted to make a few small changes so that everything would fit exactly. He needs a small step on the flange.

Production

After Jonas' approval, we now mill the tuning adapter for the drive shaft to fit exactly. Afterwards it is taken to the surface refiner.

Installation and Test

The drive shaft tuning adapter returned from the surface refiner and was sent directly to Jonas. He assembled everything and sent us great installation pictures of his new tuning adapter - thanks a lot for that!
