Aluminium adapter plate for converting to a double seat on the passenger side in the VW T4 transporter.
The original T4 transporter can be converted to a double seat in the front. The problem here is that after the conversion you have very little knee room and you have to cut the side pockets on the doors so that they can be closed properly again after the conversion.
So that you no longer have these problems during the conversion, we have this adapter plate in our range.
The adapter plate is simply screwed to the original fixation points of the T4 transporter. The double seat is then simply screwed onto our adapter plate and that's it. The conversion is very quick.
By converting with our adapter plate, the double seat is moved so that you have more knee room at the front and you can also close the door without cutting the side pockets.
The adapter plate is an absolute must for anyone who wants to convert the VW T4 transporter to a double seat bench.
