Full-length steering lock limiter / steering stop limiter made of stainless steel, suitable for all vehicles such as
VW, Audi, BMW, Seat, Opel, Ford and many others.
The steering lock limiter can be installed on all vehicles.
We have integrated a grub screw into our steering lock limiter to position the steering lock limiter perfectly. This ensures an absolutely perfect hold.
The grub screws should be secured with threadlocker.Our steering lock limiter is universal.
Fitting takes about 45-60 minutes on average, as the steering collars have to be removed and the tie rod unscrewed. Then insert the steering lock limiter and secure with the grub screw (use threadlocker), screw the track rod back on and pull the boot back on.
The enormous advantage of our continuous steering lock limiters is the price. As the parts can be manufactured in one piece, they are not nearly as expensive to produce as our two-piece steering lock limiters, so you can save a lot of money, but take a little longer to fit.

- Do I need to dismantle the handlebar for this?
No, you don't have to. Our impact limiters are designed so that you only need to loosen the cuffs and then simply place them over from the top and bottom.
- Is there a rough overview of how much the respective widths contribute to the steering angle?
Unfortunately, there is no general overview as it varies depending on the steering angle and vehicle. However, you can also reposition the limiters on the bar and, if necessary, use washers or bushings, allowing the steering angle to be perfectly adjusted to your needs.
