Our ARAMID ceramic brake pads (only usable with ceramic brake discs) have been specially developed for the 4-piston braking system of the Z18 brake calipers from the Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg and many more, and are optimally matched to our Epytec ceramic brake system adapters, but are of course also the right choice for all other ceramic brake discs. If you are looking for maximum braking performance with uncompromising durability, you are in the right place.
A special highlight: These brake pads have been specifically developed for use on ceramic-carbon brake discs. Compared to conventional friction materials, they are significantly more heat-resistant and designed for much higher temperature ranges. Even under extreme loads – for example during sporty driving or at high speeds – the braking performance remains consistent and reliable.
Thanks to the use of high-quality ARAMID ceramic compounds, you not only achieve noticeably improved braking force, but also exceptional durability. In combination with ceramic-carbon discs, the system ensures stable friction behavior, minimized wear, and a significantly extended service life – for both the pads and the brake discs.
Our brake pads have been deliberately developed to remain fully suitable for everyday use despite their performance orientation. You benefit from clean, consistent braking characteristics without compromises in daily use.

- Which brake disc manufacturers can the Epytec ceramic aramid brake pads be combined with?
Our Epytec Ceramic-Aramid Brake Pads can be easily combined with brake discs from almost any manufacturer – there is no specific brand affiliation here. The important thing is not the logo on the disc, but that the disc fits the respective braking system (dimensions, design, contact surface) and is technically in order.
Compatibility with all common brake disc manufacturers
Whether you use standard replacement discs or discs from the sports sector: Our Ceramic-Aramid pads work reliably with standard manufacturers as well as with performance suppliers. The interaction is uncritical in everyday use as well as in sportier driving, as long as the discs are correctly mounted and have no pre-existing damage.

Standard brake discs (OEM/series quality)
Sports brake discs (e.g., grooved/scorched, sometimes also drilled – depending on the design)
without any special adjustments needed, making it straightforward in practice.
What to consider for the best result
To fully exploit the advantages of the Ceramic-Aramid blend, we recommend a few simple points:
Check the condition of the disc: No deep grooves, no strong edges, no cracks/hotspots. If in doubt, replace it.
Appropriate specification: Disc diameter, thickness, hub height, and design must match the vehicle and caliper (as with any pad change).
Clean installation: Clean hub (no lateral run-out), ensure guides are free-moving, correct torque.
Brake in: After installation, brake in properly so that pad and disc “run in” optimally. This significantly improves durability and feel.
Advantage over many standard pads
Compared to many original brake pads, you will generally benefit from a noticeably better braking performance and a clearer pedal feel – especially when pads and discs are fresh and properly broken in.
