Installation instructions for item no.1072 , here you can read how to do it step by step.
Preparation:
- Soak the supplied new disc disks in transmission oil for approx. 1 hour.
- Remove the clutch.
- Before disassembling the clutch, put a mark so that you know at the end in which position the cover must be installed
- You can now open the clutch and remove all oil seals, covers, gaskets, flap discs and steel intermediate rings from the clutch. The old flap discs, the steel intermediate rings and the small steel end ring can be put aside.
Montage:
- First, the steel intermediate discs and small diameter lamella flap discs are installed in this order (from bottom to top)
very important:
- for the small lamella discs, you have to make sure you insert them with the mark (black bar) facing you into the clutch. Otherwise the transmission oil will be expelled from the clutch, and this must not be the case!
- First, a steel intermediate ring is inserted, then a lamella disc and again in alternation up to the last lamella
- For the last slat the whole thing should then look like this
- Now push the cover with the toothing back in. When reassembling the cover, make sure that it is completely clean all the way to the bottom. If necessary, move the slats slightly on the toothing so that they are neatly aligned, so that the cover closes cleanly.
- Then mount the end ring and secure the whole thing again with the oil seal. Then mount the "large" cover
- Subsequently, the large lamellar panes and steel intermediate panes can be installed in this order.
- First, a steel intermediate ring is inserted, then a lamella disc and again in alternation until the last lamella.
- The installation direction is not important for the large louvers, as they are symmetrical.
- Finally, the end ring must be mounted
- This must then be secured again with the Simmerring
- Now the cover can be mounted again. Mount the cover again at the position marked at the beginning and secure it with the Simmerring. Make sure that the Simmering is mounted in such a way that the spigot on the cover does not get in the way.
- Important! Make sure that the Simmering is mounted in such a way that the spigot on the cover does not get in the way.
- Now the coupling can be reinstalled.
!IMPORTANT!
- The clutch also needs to be readjusted.
