New Big Red Brake caliper adapter for Porsche conversion

  • 964

on the large brake system of the Porsche 996 Turbo GT2 GT3.

With these adapters, the complete brake system of the above models can be used plug & play.

Required material for installation:

  • Brake calipers no.: 996.351.429.10 + 996.351.430.10 (a successful conversion is only possibile with the before mentioned pieces!!!)
  • Brake discs from 996 Turbo 330 x 34 mm no.:  996 351 409 02 + 996 351 410 02
  • Brake caliper holders are made of high-strength steel alloy including material certificate. 

Advantages:

  • Extreme deceleration values also in connection with our rear axle brake system
  • The material certificate included in the scope of delivery enables entry by individual acceptance even for series vehicles
  • Directly suitable for the above models and can therefore be restored to the original condition at any time without any problems
  • Our EPYTEC brake caliper adapters do not require your standard parts to be sent in, no re-welding - re-milling or re-drilling

Tips, information and hints:

  • For a better ventilation of the brake system, we recommend removing the dust cover plates and brake anchor plates.
  • We can generally not answer, which rim size you can mount after your brake conversion. There are simply too many different rims.
  • In rare cases it is possible that the rims touch minimal the brake caliper, then you can simply use spacers. >> Now directly to spacers <<
  • Install the adapter with the necessary components and then check if new brake lines are required. Because, depending on the vehicle, the lines may be too short or the line tips may not suitable. We advise you to change to steel braided brake line because of the quality and technical advantage. Specifically for this, we have developed an online brake line configurator, where you can assemble the type of steel braided brake lines you want. Die Produkte sind hochwertig: professionel konstruiert und fachmännisch ausgeführt. Leider passte dieser Produkt nicht zu meiner speziellen Anwendung. Das war aber auch kein Problem, weil die Rücknahme schnell und unkompliziert akzeptiert wurde. Danke und jederzeit wieder.

Hallo, hochwertiges Produkt. Alles hat gepasst mit den angegebenen Bremszangen und Scheiben. Nur die Gravierung der Artikelnummer war auf der falschen Seite. Konnte beim TÜV nicht geprüft werden. Die Eintragung ging aber trotzdem problemlos. Gruß Ralph Schoder

  • No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc. But if you want to install a different brake caliper, we also have an option for you.
