One compressed air tank – two installation options

The EPYTEC aluminium compressed air tank was specially developed for air ride, air suspension and pneumatic systems. Its biggest advantage over conventional compressed air tanks: It can be installed both inside the vehicle and underneath the vehicle.

This is made possible by the unique design with connection options on the top and bottom. This ensures that the condensate drain plug is always located at the lowest point of the tank, regardless of the installation position, allowing condensate to be reliably drained.

This makes the tank the ideal solution for virtually any vehicle – from the VW Golf and Audi A3 to the VW T4, T5, T6, T6.1, Crafter, Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit or Fiat Ducato.

Underbody or interior – you decide

This is the key unique feature of the EPYTEC compressed air tank.

Many compressed air tanks are designed for only one installation position. If the tank is installed differently, the condensate drain is often no longer located at the lowest point. This makes it difficult to completely drain moisture and significantly limits the installation options.

The EPYTEC compressed air tank solves this problem.

Thanks to the connection threads on the top and bottom, the tank can be used optimally regardless of its installation position.

Sports cars & saloons

• Installation in the interior or boot.
• The drain plug is positioned at the bottom, allowing condensate to be completely removed.

Campers & vans

• Space-saving installation underneath the vehicle.
• The load area and entire interior remain free.
• Despite underbody installation, the drain plug remains at the lowest point.

This is an enormous advantage, especially for campers, vans and motorhomes, as no valuable storage space is lost.

Compact dimensions for flexible installation

With its compact dimensions, the EPYTEC compressed air tank offers numerous options for a clean and space-saving installation.

The tank has an overall length of 510 mm with a diameter of Ø 160 mm. The overall height including the bracket is approx. 200 mm. The distance between the two mounting brackets is 220 mm, while the hole spacing within the brackets is 63.5 mm. The bracket has a width of 116 mm.

This allows you to check before installation whether there is sufficient space at the desired mounting location.

7 × G 1/4" connections for maximum flexibility

In addition, the tank features seven connection ports, all equipped with a G 1/4" thread.

This means you only need a single thread size for the entire compressed air system.

– all components can be installed using the same G 1/4" thread.

Connections that are not required are simply sealed. This allows the tank to be individually adapted to virtually any air ride system.

This compressed air tank was developed exclusively according to the requirements of EPYTEC.

In addition to flexible installation options, particular emphasis was placed on a durable design.

The threaded sockets are solidly constructed and welded to the aluminium tank to a high standard. This creates particularly robust connection points that remain permanently reliable even with frequent screwing in and unscrewing.
