The EBC Blackstuff Ultimax brake pad is a spare pad that has been put to the test a million times. It is based on original spare parts. This therefore corresponds to the quality of the original equipment, but has been considerably improved in terms of durability and brake dust. It causes less dust on rims and all other components. In addition, this brake pad is characterized by a very good resistance to heat and minimal wear of the brake discs. The AF42 / 66 friction surface made of metal fiber and aramid fibers completely prevents brake float caused by the coating.
- optimized spare plate with friction coefficient of 0.41
- up to 90% less dust than common pads.
- 2 friction surfaces against heat breaks
- beveled corners to avoid brake noise
- unique high-strenght Brake-In ™ surface coating for optimal braking
- very minimal disc damage characteristics
- powder coated support plates and therefore very anti-corrosive quality
- no squeaks due to special coating and heat slots
- temperature up to 400 ° C
All Blackstuff Ultimax pads have an ECE R90 standard and therefore no problem for registration. EBC products are made entirely of organic material, are totally free of asbestos, free of nickel and other toxic materials. EBC products have been rewarded several times for quality for the best brakes, as well as for a sensational innovative technology.

- Do the offered brake pads have a brake wear indicator / wear warning contact?
Our brake pads are identical to the original brake pads. If you have an original indicator / warning contact, ours also have it.
- Can I also use other brake discs as specified in the required components?
No, unfortunately that is not possible. The reason is simply: all brake calipers have different heights and depths. If another brake disc is installed, the brake caliper would either not fit on the adapter or not run in the middle of the brake disc. But if you want to install a different brake caliper, we also have an option for you. You can have a custom-made product made for you, take a look at the following link for more information: https://epytec.de/uk/custom-made-products/brake-technology/adapters-for-brake-systems
