Fine drive / transmission shaft for many VW and Seat models. Absolutely necessary when lowering! The shaft is manufactured in one piece and is a complete drive shaft.
Thanks to our fine transmission / drive shaft, you avoid many problems in the body that usually appear during a lowering. With the installation of our drive shaft, you avoid many modifications and you save time.
It is important that when installing the new drive shaft, no excess pressure is created in the sleeve. In our installation instructions you can see how to prevent this (click here).
By installing the thinner drive shaft, you save yourself having to rework the body. This saves you time and nerves.

Cardan pour VW Golf 2 GTI, en suspension pneumatique. Le cardan d'origine de cette golf 2 était bien usé, et de plus avec le montage de notre suspension pneumatique, celui-ci ne nous permettait pas de descendre suffisamment. De ce fait, le cardan fin de chez Epytec est parfait. A l'air de bonne manufacture. J'ai choisi Epytec car, le service après vente est présent dans cette entreprise, et les réponse sont rapides. Les délais de livraisons sont également tenues et cela nous apporte beaucoup de satisfaction.

Einzige was ich zu bemängeln habe ist ,das die Gelenke nicht ausreichend geschmiert waren ,ansonsten topp Material und super Passgenauigkeit! 100% empfehlenswert !

Die Welle macht einen guten Eindruck. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und es wird alles einbaufertig geliefert. Genug Fett ist auch dabei. Endlich schleift nicht's mehr :)
- What exactly is the point of having a shorter driveshaft?
As a result of lowering, the axle geometry changes and the shaft presses against the wheel bearing, exposing it to high levels of wear and, in the worst case, destroying it. It is therefore imperative to depressurize the component. This is done by shortening the trees.
- Do reinforced driveshafts also have reinforced ball joints ?
The wheel-side ball joints are also reinforced, but the inner ball joints are like the standard ball joints.
- Why are two bags of grease included in the delivery?
The grease is included in the scope of delivery so that it can be regreased or if the gearbox flange is open at the rear. In this case, grease must still be applied there. If the shaft is supplied completely closed, no grease is required, as this has already been done.
- Why are no shims (OE: 1K0407357D) for the mounting supplied as they are original?
We do not supply the shims, as we install the latest version of the bellows. With these, the shims are no longer required.
